Multinational Force Gets New Leader

Nigeria has named a new leader to take charge of the regional effort against Boko Haram, reports Bloomberg News.
On Thursday, Maj. Gen. Iliyah Abbah was appointed to head the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF).
He succeeds Maj. Gen. T.Y. Buratai, who was appointed as Nigeria's chief of army staff earlier this month.
Abbah previously commanded Nigerian military operations in the Niger Delta.
