Msimang Appointed To Lead Air Force

A new head of the South African air force has been named, reports the South African Press Association.

Maj. Gen. Fabian Msimang will assume his new post on Oct. 1, said a release on Monday from the armed forces.

A helicopter pilot by training, Msimang will replace Lt. Gen. Carlo Gagiano, who has led the service for seven years.
