Mounties Arrest Man Wanted For Iraq Attacks

A 38-year-old Iraqi-Canadian has been arrested by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and charged with facilitating suicide bombings in Iraq, Reuters reports.

According to a RCMP spokesman, Sayfildin Tahir Sharif was arrested in Edmonton, Alberta, at the request of the United States. He faces extradition to the U.S. on terrorism charges.
