Iraqi police say two suicide bombers have attacked a police compound in Mosul, killing the commander, the BBC reports.
The attackers set off their explosive vests Wednesday in the room of Lt. Col. Shamil Ahmed Oglaq, the head of the First Police Battalion, officials said.
A third bomber was reportedly killed by police before he could enter the building.
