Most Of Kobane Now Said To Be In Kurdish Hands

Kurdish fighters have reportedly taken over a key government district of Kobane in northern Syria and have control of about 80 percent of the town, says a monitoring group cited by Agence France-Presse.
The Kurds in the YPG (People's Protection Units) who have been fighting ISIS "for nearly four months have full control of the security district," the U.K.-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Monday.
