The Russian Defense Ministry has denied accusations made by Georgia that Moscow has deployed S-300 air defense systems to South Ossetia, RIA Novosti reports.
On Wednesday, Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze said Russia had placed the systems in Armenia and Tskhinvali, the capital of South Ossetia, a breakaway Georgia republic, reported Reuters.
