Uganda has sent additional troops to the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo to fight militants there, reports Agence France-Presse.
On Thursday, the witnesses said another column of Ugandan forces crossed into the DRC through the Nobili border post.
Various armored vehicles and water tankers were noted in the column.
