Turkey has completed a deal with Italian company AgustaWestland for nine T129 attack helicopters for the Turkish army, Defense News reports.
The 150 million euro (US$208.6 million) order includes spare parts and the assembly of the helicopters by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI).
The order was made under an urgent operational requirement, with delivery set for mid-2012, said Turkish officials.
Ankara previously ordered 51 T129s, with delivery scheduled to begin in 2013....
