The Indonesian air force has decided to buy six more Sukhoi fighter jets from Russia, RIA Novosti reports.
Jakarta just received the final aircraft in a six-fighter order from Russia this week.
Nevertheless, the current squadron is insufficient for the vast size of the country, said Marshal Imam Sufaat, the air force chief of staff.
The additional fighter purchase is on the Defense Ministry's long-term agenda, he said.
