China and New Zealand have pledged to boost their military cooperation efforts.
The promises were formalized during a visit by Gen. Guo Boxiong, vice chairmen of the Central Military Commission, to Wellington on Monday, reports Xinhua, China's state news agency.
Boxiong met with New Zealand's Prime Minister John Key.
Mutual cooperation activities between the two nations have been on the upswing of late, including group visits, talks and personnel training.
