The Indonesian military is seeking to expand its joint military training with India, reports Antara News, Indonesia's national news agency.
The commander of the armed forces, Adm. Agus Suhartono, called for more cooperation during a Wednesday meeting with visiting Indian navy chief Adm. Nirmal Kurma Verma.
The Indian navy chief, in Jakarta for four days, said he wanted to discuss opportunities for defense industry to work with Indonesia.
