South Korea is considering holding more military drills with the United States in an attempt to deter North Korea, United Press International reports.
A four-day joint drill concluded on Wednesday in the Yellow Sea. The exercise included a U.S. aircraft carrier, 7,300 personnel and 10 ships.
Seoul has contacted Washington about carrying out "several rounds" of joint military exercises, said a senior South Korean military official.
