South Korea—More Furloughs Possible In Absence Of Comprehensive Cost-Sharing Deal

Temporary funding for South Korean workers on U.S. bases may soon run out in the absence of a comprehensive cost-sharing agreement, reports Reuters.  In an Oct. 5 letter to the South Korean Labor Ministry, U.S. Forces-Korea (USFK) warned that temporary funding for the salaries of those South Korean employees would expire on Dec. 31.
