The U.S. Army aims to revamp its combat aviation brigades for more flexibility, reports the Stars and Stripes.
The goal is to convert all of the brigades into the "medium" configuration and add unmanned aircraft, according to a spokesman at Fort Rucker, Ala.
Currently, brigades are divided into heavy, medium or light categories. Medium brigades generally consist of one AH-64 Apache battalion, one OH-58D Kiowa Warrior reconnaissance squadron, one UH-60 Black Hawk assault...
