More Fighting Reported In Tunis

Police and protesters who defied a curfew clashed again overnight Wednesday in the Tunisian capital of Tunis, Reuters reports.

Various reports say between one and four deaths occurred Wednesday.

The official death toll is at 23, but the actual number of deaths could be twice that, according to the opposition.

President Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali has fired his interior minister and ordered the release of arrested rioters in an attempt to restore calm.
