More Delays Expected For F-35A, Says Air Force Secretary

The secretary of the Air Force says that slips in the development timetable will likely push back the initial operating capability (IOC) date of the U.S. Air Force version of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, Defense News reports.

Recent restructuring of the tri-service program is the main reason behind the delay, Secretary Michael Donley said at an Air Force Association function in Arlington, Va.
