More Commercial Jet Fuel Being Tested By Air Force

The U.S. Air Force has extended tests of commercial jet fuel in military cargo planes to a second year because the current testing is going so well, the Air Force Times reports.
The Air Force wants to see how commercial Jet A fuel performs compared to the service's specialized JP-8 fuel. If a fuel switch is made, the service hopes to save $40 million annually.
