More Afghans To Take Part In Offensive

Because of recruiting and training progress, there will be about one Afghan soldier for every NATO service member in the upcoming offensive on the Taliban in Kandahar province, the Daily Telegraph (U.K.) reports.

The recruiting success among Afghans makes such a ratio possible, said Adm. James Stavridis, NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe.
