MoD's Procurement Plan Takes Fire

An independent review commissioned by the U.K. Ministry of Defense calls the MoD's procurement programs "unaffordable," the BBC reports.
Too many types of equipment are being ordered for too large a range of tasks at too high a specification, says the report.
On average, procurement programs are five years late and 300 million pounds (US$486.97 million) over budget.
