Modi Government Names New Air Force Chief

Air Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria has been appointed India's next air force commander, reports the Press Trust of India.
Currently the service's vice chief of staff, Bhadauria will succeed Birender Singh Dhanoa as chief of Air Staff on Sept. 30, the defense ministry announced on Wednesday. Dhanoa will officially retire on that date.
