The British Ministry of Defense has awarded more subcontracts for work on its new Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carriers, reports the ministry.
The contracts, totaling US$133 million, cover steelwork, modular cabins, galley equipment and other components for the vessels.
The largest contract, worth US$74 million, is for steelwork for the bow sections, with work to be conducted at Babcock's Appledore Shipyard in Devon.
