Mobility Wing Commander At Scott AFB Loses Job After 5 Months

The commander of the 375th Air Mobility Wing at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., has been removed from his post, less than five months after taking command, reports the Air Force Times.

Col. John Howard was relieved of duty by Lt. Gen. Giovanni Tuck, the commander of the 18th Air Force, due to a loss of confidence "in Howard’s leadership and ability to continue serving in command," according to an Air Force statement.
