Mississippi Nuclear Sub To Be Commissioned In Pascagoula

The U.S. Navy is about to commission its newest Virginia-class nuclear-powered attack submarine in Pascagoula, Miss., reports the Dept. of Defense.
The ceremony is set for Saturday.
The Mississippi (SSN-782), the ninth boat in the class,was built in a record 62 months and delivered a year ahead of schedule, according to a Pentagon release.
