The Russian navy has deployed the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet to the Indian Ocean for a long-range tour of duty, RIA Novosti reports.
The missile cruiser Moskva, which set sail Friday, is slated to make several port calls in the Indian Ocean.
The ship will travel through the Mediterranean Sea and the Suez Canal, said a fleet spokesman.
