An investigation into an oil spill off the Mediterranean coast of Israel has been linked to a Libyan vessel originating from Iran, reports the Times of Israel.
The oil spill came to light in mid-February, when large amounts of black tar began appearing along the Israeli coast. Since then, over 1,000 tons of tar have been cleaned up, reported the Washington Post.
