Minor Earthquakes Hit Border With Georgia

A series of earthquakes struck the border region between Armenia and Georgia, reports News.am (Armenia).

On Monday, four quakes ranging in magnitude from 2.8 to 6.0 on the Richter scale were felt in several villages in Armenia’s northwestern Shirak province.

There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.

The Armenian Emergency Ministry said that despite potential aftershocks, the earthquakes should not cause concern.
