An Indian warship has been damaged in a close encounter with a Pakistani vessel sailed to close to it, says India's navy chief, as reported by Press Trust of India.
The Pakistani destroyer Babur was escorting the Egyptian merchant vessel MV Suez, which had been released by Somali pirates. The destroyer was in the Gulf of Aden when it bumped into the Indian frigate Godavari, said Adm. Nirmal Verma.
