A Chinese security ministry official has been arrested on charges of spying for the United States, reports London's Daily Telegraph.
The private secretary for a vice minister of the State Security Ministry was reportedly detained between January and March, but the incident was kept under wraps, according to several accounts.
The minister was reportedly suspended. His agency is responsible for Chinese domestic and overseas intelligence operations.
