The Russian Defense Ministry has ordered 10 Lynx light multi-role armored vehicles (LMV) from the Italian company Iveco, RIA Novosti reports.
The government would like to set up a joint venture to construct LMVs in Russia after the purchase, said Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov.
Italian Defense Minister Ignazio La Russa said his government is prepared to transfer production technology to Russia for use by Moscow and possible sales to members of the former Soviet bloc. ...
