Milwaukee LCS Completes Acceptance Trial

The U.S. Navy's next Freedom-class littoral combat ship has successfully completed her acceptance trial, reports the U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command.
The testing of the future USS Milwaukee, completed on Sept. 18, consisted of a series of demonstrations both in port and at sea for the Navy's Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV).
The trial is the last major milestone ahead of delivery, which is scheduled for October.
