Canadian forces in Afghanistan have a new commander, reports United Press International.
Brig. Gen. Dean Milner is expected to be the last commander of Task Force Kandahar, which is scheduled to end next year, noted Postmedia News.
In a handover ceremony on Thursday, Milner took over from Brig. Gen. Jonathan Vance, who completed his second tour as head of the mission, reported the Canadian Press.
