Canadian defense officials said on Monday that the military's second-highest ranking officer had been temporarily relieved of his duties, reports CBC News.
Vice Adm. Mark Norman, the vice chief of the defense staff, was relieved of his duties "effective immediately," according to a Jan. 13 order from Gen. Jonathan Vance, the chief of the defense staff.
