Military Tries Out New Thermobaric Rockets

The Russian military says it has tested a new thermobaric rocket for its TOS-1 Buratino and TOS-1A Soltsepek multiple launch rocket systems, RIA Novosti reports.
The tests took place at Prudboi in the Southern Military District, according to Izvestia.
The new missile can engage targets at a range of up to six km (3.7 miles), has a 200-pound warhead and uses a new thermobaric mixture, said officials.
