The Latvian Defense Ministry says that it will maintain its military presence in Afghanistan and Iraq until 2020, reports LSM, Latvia's public broadcaster.
The military will continue training local armed forces despite the expected U.S. reduction of troops in the region, the ministry told the news agency on Tuesday.
