Military Training Mission In Ukraine Gets Another 3 Years

The Canadian Dept. of National Defense has extended its military training mission in Ukraine for another three years.
The armed forces will continue providing military training and capacity building assistance to Ukrainian forces under Operation Unifier until the end of March 2022, said a ministry release on Monday.
The Ukrainian military has made considerable progress but “ongoing insecurity in the region underscores the importance and relevance” of the mission, the release said....
