Military Ties Between N. Korea, 11 African Nations Under Investigation

The United Nations is investigating almost a dozen African countries for allegedly violating international sanctions against North Korea, reports the Daily Nation (Kenya).
A U.N. panel of experts, which issued a report on Sept. 9, said it was assessing information from an unnamed U.N. member state that Tanzania has signed contracts worth US$12.5 million with a North Korean firm for military-related work.
