Military Surveillance Drones To Be Armed, Says Defense Minister

French Defense Minister Florence Parly says the military is set to arm drones that were previously used just for surveillance, reports Defense News.
"I decided to begin the process of arming our intelligence and surveillance drones," said Parly on Tuesday. She made her remarks to a group of recruits and lawmakers in the southern port city of Toulon, as cited by AFP.
