The Nigerian military has regained control after Boko Haram militants seized a town in Adamawa state, reports the Daily Post (Nigeria).
Nigerian armed forces "neutralized" 11 Boko Haram militants in Michika on Monday evening, with three additional members captured alive, the army said.
The militant group robbed and burned the only commercial bank in the area during their brief takeover.
Five locals were killed in the fighting, reported the News Agency of Nigeria.
