Philippine authorities have confirmed the death of an Abu Sayyaf terrorist leader who was responsible for the beheading of two Canadian hostages last year, reports the Canadian Press.
Muammar Askali, also known as Abu Rami, was killed Tuesday in a clash with security forces on the resort island of Bohol, said a police official cited by the Philippine Star.
