The Czech military plans to resume recruiting new personnel later this year, reports the Czech News Agency.
To cut costs, the government suspended recruitment in 2009.
The military hopes to add from 150 to 300 new personnel this year and 600 annually beginning in 2012, said Defense Minister Alexandr Vondra.
The exact number of recruits will be determined by available funding, the minister said.
