The Indonesian military has established three new joint regional commands to strengthen its ability to respond to potential threats, reports the Jakarta Globe.
The regional commands, called kogabwilhan, stood up on Friday in a ceremony led by armed forces commander Air Chief Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto. The commands bring together air force, army and navy assets.
