Military Holds Live-Fire Drill Near Maritime Line With N. Korea

The South Korean military has held a live-fire exercise near the border with North Korea in the Yellow Sea, reports the Yonhap news agency.
The drill took place on Tuesday on the islands of Baengnyeong and Yeonpyeong, near the maritime border, also known as the Northern Limit Line (NLL).
The readiness exercise "involved K-9 self-propelled howitzers and Vulcan guns, among others," said a military officer.
