Military Hits Gaza Tunnel, Airport After Rocket Attack

The Israeli air force bombed two targets in southern Gaza overnight Monday, Ha'aretz (Israel) reports.
The warplanes targeted a smuggling tunnel and the unused Gaza airport, said Hamas officials. No casualties were reported.
The airstrikes were retaliation for a rocket attack on Israel on Saturday night, military officials said.
The rocket on Saturday reportedly struck an open area in Ashkelon, causing no damage.
