South Korean troops have fired warning shots at an "unidentified object" that flew across the border from North Korea, reports the Yonhap news agency (Seoul).
The object flew across the Military Demarcation Line (MDL) on Tuesday afternoon in the Chorwon area of the eastern province of Gangwon, said South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff.
