A senior British general has criticized the military for failing to properly analyze future threats, reports London's Daily Telegraph.
British military planning has been focused on new equipment and shrinking budgets rather than likely threats, such as cyber attacks, guerrilla warfare and state-sponsored terrorist proxies, says Lt. Gen. Paul Newton, the army's commander of force development and training, in a paper presented at the Royal United Services Institute.
