The Cuban government has decided to postpone a major nationwide military exercise because of damage caused by Hurricane Sandy, reports Xinhua, China's state news agency.
The Bastion 2012 drills, the largest national military exercise that has been scheduled for the last three years, will be moved from late November to sometime in the first half of 2013, President Raul Castro said on Saturday.
