Military To Escort Iranian Tankers Once In EEZ

The Venezuelan military says it will escort Iranian ships delivering oil once they arrive in the South American country's exclusive economic zone (EEZ), reports Reuters.
On Wednesday, Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino told state media that Venezuelan air and naval assets would escort the Iranian ships once they enter the EEZ, which typically extends about 200 nautical miles (370 km) from the shore.
Five Iranian tankers are carrying about 1.5 million barrels of fuel to Venezuela....
