Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar says that Turkey cooperated with the U.S. mission that led to the death of terrorist leader Abu Bakr al Baghdadi, reports the Hurriyet Daily News (Istanbul).
The Turkish and U.S. militaries exchanged information prior to the Oct. 26 operation that killed the ISIS leader, Akar told CNN International in an interview on Thursday.
