Military Completes Test-Firing Of New Ground-Based Air Defense System

The Swedish armed forces have successfully concluded verification testing of its new short-range ground-based air defense system, reports United Press International.
The Robotsystem (RBS) 98, a ground-launched variant of the German IRIS-T short-range air-to-air missile, was successfully test-fired from trailer-mounted launcher pulled by a BvS10 all-terrain amphibious armored vehicle, the military said on June 22.
