A pilot program to teach students the Chinese language has started at an Indian military academy in the northern Himachal Pradesh state, reports the Press Trust of India.
The Rashtriya Military School in Chail is the first academy to add such language training to its curriculum.
The school is run by India's Ministry of Defense.
